Jenny McNeal - Macbeth & Accidental Death of an Anarchist Jenni graduated from Middlesex University in 1999 and joined LOTC the moment her Performing Arts degree scroll hit her palm. Being terribly ‘green’ she believed a glamorous lifestyle of a touring actress would mean someone to carry her suitcase and lots of time off to go shopping in the cities they toured to. It quickly became clear that all she’d see would be the inside of a theatre and occasionally a pub and that there was nobody to carry the luggage except herself, but never mind, she loved it anyway! Jen enjoyed 2 fabulous years with the company playing men, murderers, kids, witches, and trying to sit comfortably in that Constable’s skirt. She also learnt many life skills such as how to roll cables properly, grease a sword and make a pair of stockings last a week! Since leaving she has twice performed at The London Palladium and then at Her Majesty’s Theatre, London and enjoyed many roles from Dulcie in The Boyfriend, Old Sally in Oliver! and Wicked Wanda in the pantomime Puss In Boots. Jenni’s film credits include The Adulteress in The Power and the Glory (CG Prods) and Clare in Come Back (Rogues Yarn Prods) and you can sometimes see her skulking in the background of Yorkshire based TV programmes like Heartbeat and non-descript BBC4 dramas! |
